The two filmmakers, Melanie de Domahidy and Clemens Wolfart, have been producing films together since 2009. Abroad and in Germany they gathered lots of experience in the most diverse shooting and production environments. Both of them speak fluent Italian, Spanish, English, French and German.
As freelancers in the industry they have gained expertise in many fields of production.
Sharing the tricks of the trade when they first started to work together they experienced an inspiring synergy in their complimentary know-how and creativity which continues to this day.
Founding somniafilm in 2010 was the natural consequence of this successful collaboration.
Since then they have completed many documentaries and commercials, as well as being involved in a wide range of cinema and TV productions.
